Board Members

Jennifer Bannon

Is the President and co-founder of the Sideline Supporters Booster Club (SSBC). She is a proud mother of two young athletes and can most often be found at baseball and softball fields or gymnastics meets, enthusiastically cheering on her children.  Jennifer is a former NCAA gymnast at UC Santa Barbara, where she met her husband, Jeff Bannon.   When she’s not on the sidelines, Jennifer enjoys playing golf (more enthusiastically than skillfully).   Jennifer is passionate about supporting her local community through fundraising and special events that help young athletes build leadership and teamwork skills.

Jeff Bannon

The Vice President and co-founder of SSBC. Jeff is a partner at the Rawl’s Group, specializing in family business succession planning.   His nights and weekends are spent as a full-time youth baseball coach for his son’s team. Jeff played baseball at UC Santa Barbara and spent eight years playing professional baseball with the Reds, Rays, and Bluejays organizations. Beyond his passion for baseball, he is an avid Denver Broncos fan and legendary for having the best dad jokes.

Ashley Pierson

Serves as the Team Representative for SSBC’s inaugural team, VC Grit.  She is a proud mom as well as a dedicated teacher and mentor to student-athletes in the local community.  Ashley plays an active role in organizing team events, including fun runs and team building events. An active participant in her local church, Ashley is constantly volunteering her time and serving others.  She is the ultimate sideline supporter—passionate about supporting young athletes, her family, her community, Angels baseball, and her faith.

Mackenzie Keener

Serves as the Secretary and Social Media Coordinator for SSBC. She also works as an Operations Specialist for a financial services company and is the team mom for her son’s baseball team, managing practice and tournament schedules, team logistics, and fundraisers. Mackenzie is a proud mother of two and a Santa Barbara native who earned her paralegal degree from Mission College. She loves God, her family, football, baseball, and America, in no particular order.
